How the Badminton League works

A friendly, visual guide for new players — no prior experience needed

Competitions

City-based leagues you can join. Each has a gender, category, status and runs in monthly cycles.

Pyramid groups

Players are placed into groups by level (top at the top). Promotion ↑ for top finishers, relegation ↓ for bottom.

Clear workflow

Schedule your games, play, submit the result. Opponent confirms — the system marks it Final.

Where to find your group and games

Chat with your opponent

How to open chat

  • • From your group page, use the Chat button on a game card.
  • • For doubles, there’s also a Team chat to coordinate with your partner.
  • • You’ll see your opponent’s weekly availability and preferred venues (if they set them).

Helpful tips

  • • Share a few time options and 1–2 venue choices.
  • • Set your own preferences so others can plan with you.
  • • Be polite and confirm the agreed time in chat before scheduling.

How points work (overview)

Scheduling and reporting — simple flow

1 Schedule the game

Pick a venue and time that works for both. You must schedule before entering a result.

2 Play and submit your result

After you play, enter the score from your perspective. You can edit or cancel a schedule if plans change.

3 Opponent confirms → Final

When your opponent submits the matching result, it becomes Final. Deadline: end of the month (cycle).

Edge cases

  • • Can’t agree or neither can play → scratch on both sides.
  • • Only one side can’t play → scratch for that side.
  • • Only one player submits a result by month end → we gracefully accept it as Final.

Pairs for doubles

  1. Create a pair by inviting your partner via email.
  2. They accept the invitation to form the pair.
  3. Sign up for a doubles competition by choosing your pair.

You can also switch your partner later via the pair switch flow.
